It’s so difficult to wake up and eat breakfast before my workout, but that is one of the worst things you can do to your body. In order to get the energy for the day and reduce hunger, it is so important to eat a breakfast that is high in nutrients and protein to keep you full until lunch. So, to make sure I get the nutrients I need to fuel my workout and keep me healthy, I turn to the green breakfast! There are so many different green smoothies and juice recipes, but this Green Smoothie is easy, reasonable on the budget and tastes great! Even Knox drinks it and asks me all the time if we can “make a Ninja Turtle smoothie!”
1-2 cups baby spinach or kale
1 cup almond milk
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 banana, peeled
