Cured Ham

This is the most simple and delicious recipe and will make people believe you slaved in the kitchen! It is cooked low and slow in the oven letting the juices come out of this already cooked ham, bringing out the bold pork flavor.

We always have turkey for the holidays, but this salty meat compliments dishes so nicely and gives your guests an option without having to spend a ton of money. This delicious and easy ham that is of premium quality is tender and perfect for any occasion.

Hormel Cured Ham


One Hormel Cure 81 Boneless Mini Half Ham (in flavor of your choice: Classic, Honey or Brown Sugar)



Remove from the package and place the largest cut surface of the ham face down in a baking pan.

Add 1/2 cup water to pan.

Cover pan securely with nonstick foil.

Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes per pound or until warmed through.

If glazing ham with Honey or Brown Sugar, prepare glaze as instructed below.

Directions if your Ham comes with Glaze:

While ham is in oven turn temperature up to 425 degrees.

Mix contents of glaze packet with 2 tablespoons plus teaspoon of water.

Remove ham from oven and carefully drain or spoon excess ham juices/dripppings from the pan.

Spoon the preaperd glaze mixture evenlty over the entire surface of the ham.

Place ham in oven, and heat for an additional 5-10 minutes or until glaze is set.

Slice ham, serve and enjoy!

The optimum serving temperature for ham is 135ºF-140ºF.
