Elf Makeup on a Target Shelf

My favorite elf makeup at Target

Hi, my name is Kim and I’m addicted to Target. I am certain they chose their signature color to be red, because they knew we were going to fall head over heels in love and spend the rest of our lives living in heavenly bliss together. I can roam the make-up aisle for hours and absolutely love the line e.l.f. cosmetics that they carry. It is so inexpensive, yet full of promise for any make-up junkie! It is highly pigmented and for the price, many are considered “dupes” or duplicates to high end brands. A few of my absolute favorites from their product line are:

ELF-Headliner-Blush

The HD blush in Headliner and Superstar – this blush is a dead ringer for the brand HD Make Up For Ever sold at the $25 price point at Sephora. Be warned though…this is highly pigmented and a little tiny pinpoint goes a looooooong way!

Brush Collectione.l.f. Brushes – I own several brushes from Sephora, however I own just about every brush in the e.l.f. Studio Brush collection and use them literally everyday. They are incredibly soft and don’t shed at all. I absolutely love that when they get dirty and I don’t have the time or energy to clean them using the e.l.f. brush cleaner, I can just toss it and get a new one for a few bucks! My absolute favorites are the Foundation, Bronzer, Blush, Eyeshadow and Kabuki brushes!

elf lip exofilatore.l.f Lip Exfoliator – I had never used a lip exfoliator before, so when I saw this on Pinterest, I knew I had to try it out and I am so glad I did! I absolutely love this warm vanilla scented lip scrub that is dressed in a lipstick tube. You just put it on like lipstick in a circular motion and it cures those dry winter lips leaving them soft and smooth. I must warn you that these little sugar exfoliates pack a big punch and the sensation can be powerful, so make sure to start with a gentle touch and work your way into it.

elf studio blushe.l.f Studio Blush – I am obsessed with these blushes and I own just about every shade they come in. Each of them has a dupe that can be compared to mostly NARS blushes, that I used to spend a whopping $30 a piece on (what was I thinking?)! My go to favorites are Candid Coral, Fuchsia Fusion and Tickled Pink.

eyelid primere.l.f Mineral Eye Shadow Primer (in sheer) – You need this primer! I used to never use primers, but over the past few years realized all the extra beauty I had been missing out on…literally! It grabs ahold of any eyeshadow and helps it to not crease and keeps it looking freshly applied through the duration of the day. Upon application, it is a bit tacky and it takes a few seconds to dry, but after that it works like pure magic. This is a must have!

With all of the amazing elf products it makes me feel better that I can go into Target and spend only a small amount on beauty products, that make me look and feel like I went to a high end make-up counter and spent a few hundred! It certainly allows me to spend that extra cash on all the other fun stuff they have!

What are some of your favorite elf products that I didn’t mention? Let me know in the comment section below!

I used to buy clear brown gel from MAC for $17 a tube, I now buy it from e.l.f. for $1(!!!) a tube – http://www.eyeslipsface.com/elf/eyes/eyebrows/wet_gloss_lash_and_brow_clear_mascara

Another awesome product – their contouring blush/bronzer set – http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/face/blush/contouring_blush_and_bronzing_powder

I put this powder under my eyes before I use powder shadows – once I am done putting on my eye shadow – I brush off this excess powder that has caught any loose eye shadow – http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/face/powder/high_definition_powder
