Crockpot Baked Potatoes in the Crock Express

How to make or rather bake crockpot baked potatoes in the the new Express Crock or your favorite slow cooker! Whether you choose to use a slow cooker or pressure cooker, keep reading to get both recipes for perfectly cooked and fluffy baked potatoes!

This recipe is so easy, which is what I like the most! I mean who doesn’t want to throw everything into a pot and forget about it? Both methods do all the work for you during the cooking process with minimal clean up.

How to Make Crockpot Baked Potatoes

Start by cleaning your Russet potatoes. Scrub them until clean and let dry. Add a little olive oil to cover the potato and sprinkle with Kosher salt. This step is to soften the skin, add more flavor and is purely optional. I will say that it makes me want to eat the whole potato skin and all when it is cooked this way!

Many swear you have to poke holes in the potato with a fork so that they can vent and cook evenly. I have done it both ways and find if you cook them in the slow cooker in foil it is necessary. However, if cooked on pressure cooker mode not a must. I say poke a few holes just to be safe either way! The last thing I want is for your potatoes to explode!
