Crockpot Grape Jelly Chili Meatballs Appetizer

A crowd pleasing appetizer that can be made in the crockpot or pressure cooker with minimal effort. These sweet and savory meatballs are truly a dump and go appetizer and ingredients can be substituted for different flavor combinations! These will be the first to go at every pot luck or get together!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 bags frozen meatballs cocktail or regular
  • 1 (12 oz) bottle chili sauce
  • 1 (16-18 oz) jar grape jelly
  • 1 cup water pressure cooker mode only

Instructions

Pressure Cooker:

  1. Add frozen meatballs, water, grape jelly and chili sauce

  2. Put the lid on lock and turn the the valve to “Sealing.”

  3. Select Steam mode and set the timer for 5 minutes.

  4. When the cook time is over, turn the valve to “Venting” and let the pressure naturally release.

  5. Stir until well combined. If the sauce is too thin, turn on Sauté setting and cook for 5-10 minutes until excess liquid evaporates and sauce is reduced and thickens.

Slow Cooker:

  1. Add frozen meatballs, grape jelly and chili sauce.

    Stir until well combined. If the sauce is too thin, turn on Sauté setting and cook for 5-10 minutes until excess liquid evaporates and sauce thickens.

  2. Put the lid on lock and turn the the valve to “Sealing.”

  3. Select Steam mode and set the timer for 5 minutes.
