Mom’s Creamed Corn

The yellow in this creamed corn will give your table some nice color next to those casseroles and starch filled dishes!

I love this recipe that is rich, yet full of sweetness and the most delicious side dish. It has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember, and it is always on the table during the holidays!

It is creamy, yummy goodness, that has such a divine flavor that is sweet from the corn and rich from the cream. I know you will love this one and since it’s extra easy, it’s a dish that you should definitely put on your holiday menu!

Mom’s Creamed Corn

Ingredients:

2 – 11 ounce cans white shoepeg corn, (make sure this is white shoepeg and not whole kernel! It can be a bit tricky to find, but Green Giant makes it.)

1/2 pint whipping cream

2 teaspoon flour

Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

Melt butter, add flour and mix well.

Drain corn.

Add corn to butter and flour mixture.

Add in cream and stir.

Salt and pepper to taste.

Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes.
