Baked Brie

This delicious dish looks as pretty as it tastes! Simply wrap your brie in the puff pastry sheets and bake in the oven for a delicious and classy appetizer that is perfect for any affair. Serve warm with fresh sliced apples and water crackers.


4 inch round Brie

Puff Pastry Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry is easy to work with

Jelly: whatever flavor you like, I use apricot

Pecan pieces

2 egg yolks

Serve with thinly sliced apples and water crackers


Trim the top and sides of a 4 inch Round Brie.

Place the Brie in the center of 1 sheet of puff pastry.

Top the Brie with the jelly of your flavor preference.

Top the jelly with pecan pieces.

Take the sides of the puff pastry and fold them up to meet in the center and twist it together covering the entire Brie.

Crack two eggs and remove the yolks and whisk.

Paint the top and sides of the pastry sheet with the yolk.

Place on a sprayed cookie sheet (with sides) bc sometimes the cheese will ooze out.

Bake at 375 degrees until golden usually around 30 minutes.

Serve on a platter with the apples and crackers surrounding it.

It is so yummy!
